Big Feelings Don't Always Come Out in Words

CHILDREN & PLAY THERAPY

Children often show us what they are experiencing before they can explain it. A change in behavior, difficulty at school, a new fear, or stronger reactions can leave parents wondering what their child needs and how to help.

Through Registered Play Therapy (RPT™), we give children a way to express what may be difficult to say directly. We use play, creativity, and conversation to help children understand their feelings, develop coping skills, and feel more confident in themselves.

What is play therapy?

Children don't always have the words to explain anxiety, grief, frustration, or fear. Play therapy uses toys, art, games, and imagination as a natural form of communication, allowing children to process experiences and express emotions in ways that feel comfortable and familiar. We provide developmentally appropriate play therapy for children ages 3 - 12 who may be experiencing anxiety, grief, ADHD, school difficulties, family changes, behavioral concerns, or other challenges.

Wondering if play therapy is right for your child? We’re here to support you.

What Growth Looks Like Through Play

Every child approaches therapy differently. Sessions are guided by your child's developmental needs and interests while building emotional awareness, confidence, and healthy coping skills. Parents remain an important part of the process through regular updates and collaboration.

Your child may build with blocks, create artwork, play games, or use imaginative play while developing a trusting relationship with their therapist. Every activity has a therapeutic purpose designed to support emotional growth.
